contract allow our Clients to leverage the value, scope and range of their
internal resources by using professional Black & Veatch Program and Project
Managers and Professional Support Staff. Our Clients know their Environmental
Programs and Projects will be executed and completed in strict accordance with
the technical scope and regulatory requirements, on schedule, within budget and
with the quality they associate with Black & Veatch. The following presents
a brief overview of the services we perform under our GSA Environmental
Services Contract:
SIN 899-1 ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNING SERVICES &
DOCUMENTATION
Black & Veatch has offered our Clients expert
environmental planning services since the National Environmental Policy Act
(NEPA) became law more than 30 years ago. We have provided our Clients with
customized solutions to their environmental problems, specific to their
organizational and operational needs, and consistent with the regulatory
requirements. Some of the specific capabilities and services the firm offers
under this SIN include:
o Developing Environmental Impact Statements, Audits and
Assessments under NEPA.
o Performing Endangered Species Studies under the Endangered
Species Act and

Black & Veatch has been actively involved with
corresponding Waste Management Services for nearly 35 years. The firm performed
one of the first major Environmental Remediation Designs for the DoD in 1978.
Black & Veatch was selected as one of the first 3 EPA Superfund Contractors
in 1981, and the firm has held major Environmental/Waste Management Services
Contracts with the EPA, other Federal and State Agencies and Private Industry
since then. Black & Veatch currently holds EPA RACs Contracts in 3 EPA Regions.

country for groundwater cleanup. Since then Black & Veatch has performed
more than 1,000 environmental remediation type projects for Federal, State, and
Local Governments and for Private Industry. Some of the services offered by
