Brandes Associates, Inc. (BAI) offers strategic planning services to DOD and other federal agencies. These services include research, consultation, recommendations, and the preparation of specific directions and plans to assist the organization in mapping its course through an uncertain future. BAI s services help organizations anticipate and adjust to the impact made by the combination of new information technologies and the changing globalistic international system at all levels of their operations. Specific service offerings:

       Customer-oriented organizational research

       Help customers understand how they fit in the new technology/international political environment

       Communication of difficult concepts to customer s senior leadership

       Develop future scenarios tailored for customer s specific organizational requirements

       Assist with the advocacy, explanation, and development of futuristic concepts

Productivity Improvement Services

Brandes Associates, Inc. (BAI) provides business and productivity improvement services for DOD and other federal agencies. As a complement to its strategic planning services, BAI will, in this category, align an organization s actions, processes, and structural directions with executive vision and organizational mission through the application of information science and technologies. BAI will advise executive and supervisory management on the creation, maintenance, ongoing analysis, and productivity improvement of their specific information environment. BAI specializes in the creation and maintenance of portable and secure information environments used by organizations, groups, or teams that deploy away from their main base of information. Specific service offerings:

 

       The integration of tactical-level organizational processes, structures, and objectives with strategic plans and direction.

       The creation of a tailored information systems strategic plan for the customer.

       The creation, maintenance, ongoing analysis and management of a flexible, portable, and secure information environment specifically tailored to customer requirements and missions.

       Anticipate changes required by new technologies, new threats, or new environments, recommend new organizational structures or technologies to adapt, and advise the customer during their implementation.

 

Examples of product improvement services BAI has provided our customers are:

       Acquisition organization transition from discrete product development to information services

       Product development in an intensive user interface and rapid prototyping environment

       Application of the Mission Support Center concept to providing a real-time information service to widely distributed personnel

 

Process Improvement Services

Brandes Associates, Inc. (BAI) offers expert consultation in the disciplines of Web-Site Management and Security, Requirements Management, Product Training, Logistics Management, Risk Management, Systems Engineering, and Product Test. Our services include research, consultation, recommendations, and the preparation of specific directions and plans to assist the organization in improving management and development processes. Specific service offerings:

       Implementation of real time information distribution to a distributed workforce

       Secure internet practices and procedures including Public Key Infrastructure, digital certificates, data management, and system administration

       Implementation of Mission Support Center Support to provide global connectivity

       Requirements management with emphasis of requirements descriptions from a user view maintained in relational database environment

       Product training and logistics management to provide users with next day response and delivery

       Risk management procedures and contingency planning to address issues before they become problems

       Product test processes to find defects early before they impact product cost and schedule.

The customer s Contracting Office develops an RFQ (minimum of 3 sources are evaluated)

       STEP 6: Response
BAI provides a RFQ response

       STEP 7: Award
Customer awards task to BAI
