ORDERING PROCEDURE
Verbal communication to discuss the Statement of Work is the usual method used for ordering services and is offered three hundred and sixty-five day a year, twenty-four hours a day.
Office hours are Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30 and a receptionist will direct your call. After hour services, usually reserved for emergency work but offered in any event, can be activated by calling your account representative directly or by calling the Jet Blast Hotline by dialing the main telephone number.

The user will provide a written Statement of Work from which Jet Blast Inc will develop a price estimate. The Statement of Work should include at a minimum:
a. Contact name and telephone number
b. Scope of Work and any other unique project requirements
c. Location of Work
d. Period of Performance
e. Deliverables Required (Type, Quantity and Schedule)
f. Applicable Standards (If Any)
g. Acceptance Criteria
h. Special Requirements (Certifications, Security Clearances, Travel, Special Knowledge)
Jet Blast Inc will respond in an expeditious manner. Our price will be based on the information provided within the Statement of Work. Our price will be prepared in accordance with established hourly labor, equipment and material rates. Elements of our price will include:
a. Title Block: Identifies project name, location, date, proposed number, task order number, agency user name, user point of contact and Jet Blast Inc point of contact.
b. Labor: Hours and price, itemized by item (Joint Travel Regulations)
c. Travel: Units and price, itemized by item
d. Equipment: Units and price, itemized by item
e. Material: Units and price, itemized by item
f. Other Direct Cost: Units and price, itemized by item
g. Schedule: Proposed completion date, by deliverable
h. Total: Proposed price
i. Exception: Four hour minimum, portal to portal charges apply
Upon notice of Award, Jet Blast Inc will proceed with preliminary planning and coordination efforts. The project will then be assigned to a Senior Project Manager for execution. The user will be contracted to arrange for site access and commencement of work activities.
LABOR CATEGORY DESCRIPTIONS
COMMERCIAL JOB TITLE: LABORER
Minimum/General Experience: No experience required, will train. Mechanical experience a plus. Maintain at minimum a C- grade Maryland state driver s license with no more than three points.
Functional Responsibility: Provide hands on labor and assistance as directed by the operator/supervisor at all times.
Minimum Education/Qualifications: Must be literate and able to speak and understand the English language. Possess a valid Maryland state drivers license. Maintain less than four (4) points on driver s license. Maintain a home phone. Own and maintain personal transportation for both to and from work. Be available and on time for work as scheduled. Be able and willing to work, train and follow directions.
COMMERCIAL JOB TITLE: OPERATOR
Functional Responsibility:
Minimum Education/Qualifications:
High school graduate or experience equivalency
Employed with the company for a minimum of six months or prior proven experience.
Experience and knowledge of flow rates, nozzles, water jet blasting including shot gunning and line moleing.
Knowledge of pumps and engine operations including trouble shooting and minor repairs of packing, belts valves, etc.
Experience and knowledge of liquid vacuuming and wet/dry vacuuming.
Experience and knowledge of chemical circulation truck.
Knowledge of company safety rules including vessel entry and documentation requirements.
Current C.P.R. certification.
Knowledge of company operating rules.
Current, valid commercial driver s license (CDL) to drive all vehicles and combination of vehicles with a GVW OR GCW OF 25,000 pounds (excluding tractor-trailer and motorcycle) with a maximum of four (3) points on driving record.
Follows instructions and basic guidelines as per manual.
Ability to supervise and communicate with fell employees.
Ability to motivate and train men.
Availability.
Maintain a toolbox containing the following, two 10 or larger pipe wrenches, one 10 or larger adjustable wrench, one 8 or larger channel locks, one 6 or larger vise-grip pliers, one regular screwdriver.
