Company Background

American Environmental & Engineering Consultants (AEEC), LC is an environmental engineering consulting firm with a proven track record of providing environmental engineering services to the commercial and government market since 1995. AEEC is a minority, woman-owned business and a certified participant in the U.S. Small Business Administration''s (SBA) 8(a) Business Development Program since August 10, 1999. AEEC holds a General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contract to provide quality engineering consulting services at favored rates to GSA and all Federal customers. AEEC is offering services under the Special Item Number (SINs): 899-1, 899-2, 899-3, 899-4, and 899-5.

AEEC's past and present clients include US Department of Defense, Sacramento Army Corps of Engineers, 96th Army Reserve Command, BP Amoco, PacifiCorp, IBM, Lucent Technologies and the Utah State Government. AEEC achieved a top-notch past performance evaluation score of 1.23 in an independent survey conducted by Dun & Bradstreet. (1 being best on a scale of 1-5).

LABOR CATEGORY DESCRIPTIONS

1. Principal Scientist

Experience: Ten (10) years of experience in environmental science and engineering. Also, experienced in project planning, detailed analysis, execution, testing and support.

Functional Responsibility: Provides leadership and high level scientific/engineering skills for project management and technical services. Involvement in project planning, management studies, technical consulting etc. are routinely encountered.

2. Senior Scientist

Experience: Seven (7) years of experience in environmental science and engineering, including project planning, detailed analysis, execution, testing and support.

Functional Responsibility: Working independently, provides high level scientific skills for effective completion of environmental projects.

3. Scientist

Experience: Three (3) years of experience in a technical/engineering disciplines.

Functional Responsibility: Working independently or under minimal supervision, provides scientific and engineering support for effective execution of environmental/engineering tasks.

4. Program Manager

Experience: Seven (7) years of strong professional management experience including management of technical staff, staff development, business administration, operations, and training.

Functional Responsibility: Provides mission critical technical and leadership skills. Responsible for deriving, implementing, and/or managing the overall technical solution in compliance with contract or task requirements. Must be proficient in planning, scheduling, resource allocation, risk analysis and mitigation, contract administration, and customer interaction. Must be able to determine additional improvement opportunities, and develop requirements and doctrinal changes.

5. Project Manager

Experience: Three (3) years of professional experience in strategic project management, planning, and delivery of contracted services according to contract terms.

Functional Responsibility: Provides professional and leadership support in management of contract specific tasks, including resource allocation, managerial assistance to technical staff, management of support staff, contract administration and customer interaction.

6. Senior Engineer

Experience: Five (5) years of engineering experience in a progressive environment. Expert knowledge in specific environmental/engineering disciplines.

Functional Responsibility: Working independently, provide engineering support and technical expertise in design, development, analysis and implementation of engineering solutions. Involves interaction with other senior staff and supervision/mentoring of subordinates.

7. Project Engineer

Experience: Four (4) years of technical experience in environmental engineering.

Functional Responsibility: Under minimal supervision, provides engineering expertise in solution of environmental and related technical tasks. Will be involved in engineering task preparations, analysis, design, fabrication/assembly, mathematical modeling and simulation, report preparation and training.

8. Environmental Engineer

Experience: Three (3) years of environmental and chemical/civil engineering field experience.

Functional Responsibility: Provides expertise in effective resolution of environmental engineering concerns, including hazardous waste, air, and water pollution, and ground contamination. Involvement required in regulatory analysis, risk assessment, remedial investigations, engineering resolution and report preparation.

9. Staff Engineer

Experience: Two (2) years of direct engineering experience.

Functional Responsibility: Under direct or indirect supervision of senior staff, provides engineering services towards fulfillment of contract related tasks.

10. Field Technician

Experience: Two (2) years of field experience.

Functional Responsibility: Under direct supervision, provides technical services towards fulfillment of contract related tasks.

11. Computer Scientist/Engineer

Experience: Must have five (5) years of engineering experience and expert use of multiple programming languages. Also experienced in design and implementation of systems.

Functional Responsibility: Researches, designs, and develops computer software systems in conjunction with hardware products. Applies principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Analyzes software requirements to determine feasibility of designs. Develops and directs software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation. Designs, codes, tests, and implements tools for operations automation.

12. Air Quality Engineer

Experience: Four (4) years of experience in air quality engineering.

Functional Responsibility: Provides air pollution related expertise.

13. Hazardous Materials Manager

Experience: Three (3) years of experience in proper handling and management of hazardous and toxic materials.

Functional Responsibility: Provides hazardous materials related expertise in resolution of contracted tasks.

14. Technical Writer

Experience: Two (2) years of experience in a technical environment. Must be familiar with computer word-processing software.

Functional Responsibility: Preparation of technical documents as per contract requirements.

15. Graphics Artist/CAD Operator

Experience: Three (3) years of experience as a CAD operator. Must be familiar with appropriate computer software.

Functional Responsibility: Provides CAD services as per the engineering/contract requirements.

16. Asbestos Specialist

Experience: Three (3) years of experience in asbestos compliance related services, including review of survey data.

Functional Responsibility: Conduct asbestos compliance survey and related project management services. Work includes collection of representative materials, risk assessments, preparation and implementation of maintenance plans, asbestos abatement work plans, and abatement project management.

17. Contract Specialist

Experience: Three (3) years of experience in contract negotiations, management, and task fulfillment services.

Functional Responsibility: Working under general guidance, provides services in support of management of contract specific tasks, including contract administration and customer interaction.
