The purpose of Federal Supply Schedule 874 (MOBIS) is to help Federal agencies quickly respond to dynamic and evolutionary influences. Following below are a brief description of what the MOBIS Schedule offers, the service specialties available from OMNI Engineering & Technology, Inc. (the Contractor), the steps to place an order, and the benefits of using this Schedule.

What This Program Covers

 

In general, the MOBIS Schedule offers management services and supporting products in consulting, facilitation, survey, and training.

 

Federal Supply Schedule 874 provides the contract vehicle for agency executives needing help to improve mission performance and to achieve the expectations of initiatives such as:

 

           Executive Order 12367, Productivity Improvement for the Federal Government

           Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) of 1993

           National Partnership for Reinventing Government (originating in 1993 as the National Performance Review)

Consulting Services Offered Through This Contract

 

MOBIS services available through this contract, Contract No. GS-10F-0199J, are Consulting Services, SIN 874-1. Contractors offering Consulting Services provide expert advice, assistance, guidance and/or counseling in support of agencies management, organizational and business improvement efforts. This may also include studies, analyses and reports documenting any proposed developmental, consultative or implementation efforts. Examples of consultation include, but are not limited to:

 

  • strategic, business and action planning
  • systems alignment
  • cycle time
  • process and productivity improvement
  • organizational assessments
  • high performance work

 

 

  • leadership systems
  • performance measures and indicators

         program audits and evaluations

How to Place an Order

 

Once your agency determines that an outside source is needed, all that is required of you is to prepare a statement of work (SOW) and proceed to select an acceptable MOBIS contractor. Figure 1 on the following page illustrates the logical flow of the contractor selection process.

The Benefits to You

 

Much of the work associated with procuring services available to you through this Schedule has already been done for you by GSA. With this Schedule, you will avoid the time and expense of open market solicitations. GSA has conducted the vendor analysis, made sure that contracting documents comply with the relevant rules and regulations, and GSA is available to assist you through the acquisition process. To reach GSA, you may use any of the four methods listed in Table 6 on the following page.
