Visual Training Solutions Group, Inc. (VTSG),
located in Herndon, Virginia, specializing in high-fidelity PC based training
systems provides a unique combination of operational and technical expertise
necessary to meet the requirements of military aviation training and
simulation. The VTSG team consists of former weapons school instructors,
operational test and evaluation officers and software engineers with extensive
backgrounds in systems and sensor computer training applications.
VTSG currently offers commercially and via this GSA
Schedule, the AirBook USA mission training system. The AirBook USA training system is a portable
system that provides high-fidelity weapon, sensor and mission training on a
COTS-based PC platform. The system
provides tactical military training on a standards-based software core that is
adaptable to any training requirement.
An AirBook USA system may include:
- Advanced
high fidelity simulation, graphics, and terrain engines
- Part-task
to Multi-platform, multi-mission training modes
- Distributed
Mission Training (DMT) compatible; HLA certified; FOM agile
- Virtual
Reality (VR) display with embedded head tracking providing 360o
field of regard visuals
- Multiple,
simultaneous Weapons, Sensor and System simulations
- User
tailored feedback via Virtual Instructor and 3-D visual mission playback
- SCORM-compliant
Learning Management System (LMS) application
The AirBook USA mission training system includes
commercially available PC computers and peripherals, off-the-shelf training and
simulation modules, and customized software components and training
content. Those items (or modules) and
the labor rate to customize them and develop training content are listed below. Customization may include:
- Training
system requirements analysis and design support
- Specific
weapons, sensor (simulation object) behavior modeling to include
classified data, if required
- Specific
aircraft flight modeling
- Detailed
training mission or scenario development
- Specific
simulation display software development
- Specific
aircraft, weapon, and threat (simulation object) graphics development
- Specific
terrain, elevation, and imagery development
- Customized
control replica design and development
- Simulation
entity behavior modeling
VTSG via a GSA Schedule task order is able to provide
government customers the ability to design an AirBook USA mission training
system that best fits their specific requirements while taking advantage of
commercially available, off-the-shelf training and simulation modules. The procuring official selects the items (or
modules) required from the Price List and details the customization scope of
effort. VTSG develops the customized
software and training content then integrates the hardware, existing modules,
and customized software. Additionally,
VTSG is able to provide Contractor Logistical Support (CLS) for the delivered
systems.

Volume Pricing information: The following price schedule is based upon
the procurement of the items on an individual basis, discounts for quantities
of greater than 25 and less than 50 is 5%, discounts for quantities equal to or
greater than 50 and less than 100 is 7.5%, quantities greater than 100 is 10%
of the total price. Additionally,
procurement of multiple modules results in further discounts of up to 15% of
the combined module prices, depending on quantity procured. VTSG, Inc. can incorporate classified weapon
systems and performance into training modules; however, level of classification
may impact percent of reduction associated with procurement due to processing,
handling and shipping requirements associated with the effort.
Maintenance
information: Maintenance
and Support includes support for all hardware and software for delivered
system(s) including the replacement or repair of parts and material due to
normal use of equipment for a period of 360 days from contract date. Equipment broken due to Government mishandling
will be replaced at the cost of the items plus an hourly rate on a cost basis
to configure the system and replace the software. Software support includes basic simulation
updates (generally two per year) and mission module updates of existing
training sessions. Additionally, support
includes the correction of post delivery discrepancies within original project
scope. Note, the creation of a new
Aircraft operational flight program or the addition of new weapons and/or
sensors to a delivered trainer would not be included in the software support
package, but may be contracted separately and incorporated into an existing
long-term maintenance contract.
