No warranty for data that is licensed, or has been provided at no charge, shall be provided other than that it is the data as used by MFN Global Services and corrections will be provided to the extent they are available. Minimum Education/Experience: Bachelor s degree with 5 years relevant experience or 8 years relevant experience.

Functional Responsibilities: Performs duties involved in the development, testing, implementation and maintenance of operating system and related software. Establishes and implements standards for computer operations for compatibility between hardware and software, according to specifications and parameters. Troubleshoots and resolves software, operating system and networking problems. Schedules, performs and monitors system backups and when necessary, performs data recoveries. Recommends hardware and software upgrades, according to growth statistics and disk space forecasts. A combination of over four years of directly related training and/or experience is typically required for carrying out the responsibilities for this job.:: Schedules, plans and performs system upgrades, including coordinating the transition from test to production environments. Functional Responsibilities: Responsible for evaluating, developing, maintaining, along with usage of telecommunication systems. Acquires, installs, and maintains company's local area network or wide area network. Responsibilities require an understanding of both networking and telecommunications theory and practice. To carry out responsibilities at this level may requires a college degree in a related field or certification. Functional Responsibilities: Performs any combination of following duties to provide technical support to employees in information processing departments. Assigns and coordinates work projects, such as converting to new hardware or software. Evaluates work load and capacity of computer system to determine feasibility of expanding or enhancing computer operations. Makes recommendations for improvements in computer system. Reviews completed projects or computer programs to ensure that goals are met and that programs are compatible with other programs already in use. Trains workers in use of new software or hardware. Minimum Education/Experience: Bachelor s degree with 4 years relevant experience or 6 years relevant experience.

Functional Responsibilities: First line supervisor who supervises and coordinates activities of help desk technicians/representatives engaged in assisting computer users with hardware and software questions and problem; fielding telephone calls and e-mail messages from customers seeking guidance on technical problems; diagnosing nature of problem; assisting customers through problem solving steps. Responsible for diagnostic, troubleshooting, and resolving information systems problems so as to minimize down time of applications and personnel. Commercial Description: Annual charge for non labor O&M of network that was enhanced to include charges for network monitoring.

 

Metropolitan Area Network (MAN)/Wide Area Network (WAN) Enhancement - National Capital Region (NCR)

 

Commercial Description: Provides for Enhancement of new metropolitan area networks/wide area network that adheres to all local and state regulations as well as environmental agencies. Network will be deployed in secure infrastructure within existing Rights of Way. Assumes building property access and unforeseen issues on Enhancement.
