PROPRIETARY METHODS

VISTATM is our key tool for strategy development. Based on in-depth personal interviews, it models both the rational and emotional components of the decision making process. VISTA helps you create communication strategi es that appeal to the deeply-held values which motivate decision makers. VISTA is equally effective at examining how the public views an organization, how patrons view a service, how employees view their employer, or how people feel about issues. Wirthlin Worldw ide has more experience than any other company in the world at applying values-based research to strategic problems.

strataTM can help you determine how well your communications succeed at reaching the audience in positive and personally relevant ways. This unique communication assessment method goes beyond recall scores and actually quantifies how well a given advertising execution or other message achieves its desired strategy.

Advanced Strategy Lab uses a portable network of laptop computers to lead teams of decision makers or consumers in facilitated, interactive group discussions. It is an ideal tool for process evaluation, team performance enhancement, structured prob lem solving, creative idea generation, action plan development, brainstorming, collaboration and prioritizing. ASL can also be conducted online, with participants in remote locations connected via the Internet.

PulseLineTM is an interactive group response measurement system, which graphically portrays real-time audience reaction to communications of all kinds. It can be used to test people's reactions to advertising, speeches, television coverage, debates, etc. PulseLine message testing pinpoints specific strengths and weaknesses in your tactical executions, and the degree to which your message accomplishes its strategic objectives.

Brand ArchitectureTM creates a complete model of how audiences relate to your brand, by exploring the brand context, personal identification with the brand, point of brand impact, brand equities, brand benefits, and bran d symbols and icons. The insights gained can lead to a brand positioning that more effectively links your brand with your target consumers based on the emotional benefits people seek.

Communication WorkshopsTM Facilitated, on-site training sessions to help our clients implement research findings. A Wirthlin team guides participants through learning from the research and its strategic implications. Participants can include both internal and external communicators, such as publications staff, ad agencies, PR practitioners, speechwriters, etc. Hands-on exercises are utilized to give participants practical experience translating strategy into effective communication to target audiences. The Workshop is an efficient and effective way to immerse teams in the information, to turn new knowledge into practice and action, and to integrate it throughout the organization.
